S/T es un trabajo realizado en ganchillo que hace referencia a otras piezas anteriores hechas con patatas o judías germinadas y que nos habla de los ciclos ecológicos, una naturaleza que se regenera en lo inerte, una energía activa en estado latente que germina y da vida.
Cojines hechos con hilo que recuerda a la generación de los 70 en donde tejer y coser eran técnicas asociadas con lo femenino y consideradas marginales en el contexto artístico, utilizadas ahora como una herramienta reivindicativa. Su uso implica la revalorización de los trabajos que se desarrollaban en el hogar por las “amas de casa”.
Sus economías del sustento hicieron de los hogares franquistas verdaderos centros de producción, pequeñas autarquías, espacios para la supervivencia asociados a los saberes del hacer. Así a los cojines les han crecido brotes que van buscando la luz, un elemento imprescindible para su desarrollo y que desde sus estrategias de crecimiento van creando vida desde la vulnerabilidad de lo pequeño, al igual que hacían ellas.
